Brian just finished filming his new movie "Cyrus" in Niles, Michigan. Its a thriller that has been inspired by a true story where Brian portrays the character of Cyrus, a prolific serial killer - "The County Line Cannibal". The Independent film was shot under the SAG Ultra Low Budget Agreement, which covered productions up to $200,000 & the pay for the actors was $100 per shoot day. The filming began on November 4th & ended on November 24th, 2008.


Synopsis:
Inspired by a true story, a small independent news crew, made up of reporter Maria and her camera man Tom, investigates a series of unexplained disappearances in a small Midwestern county. The story leads them to the isolated town of Arkham Heights, where they find themselves interviewing Emmett, who possesses an all too intimate knowledge of the details of "The County Line Cannibal" - Cyrus(Brian Krause). As Emmett inter-weaves the macabre life tale of Cyrus with the story of his last three victims, Maria comes closer and closer to the greatest story of her life - or what's left of it. Filled with reenacted documentary footage of actual forensic experts, serial killers and police authorities, "Cyrus" presents a simultaneously beautiful and horrific examination of the destructive nature of cause and effect leading to the creation of the most prolific serial killer in the history of the United States.

Our Brian....a serial killer (smile) !!!! He did say he had wanted to play a role like that, didn't he? This is the first time I've heard about this movie. Lil Sis, did you know about it beforehand? Hmmmm...and it was filmed in Michigan. Wasn't that the State where the monster.com thing was? Maybe this is why BK's friend "Will" is calling him "Killer" on his myspace page...ya think (smile). Well...I don't get fascinated by "Killers" but I'll have to make an exception for BK (smile)

U know I had no idea he was in this movie...actually I was browsing for Bk pics at this site called flickr.com thats when I found these pics...apparently the photograher or crew members of the movie had an account there where they posted all these behind the scenes pics. As its a photo sharing site like photobucket...it didn't say much just that the album where they uploaded the photos said "Filming Cyrus"...so after I got the name of the movie...I started searching for the facts & thats how a found it out. There isn't much info on this movie on the web cuz it just finished filming...I only found 2 articles(not about the movie but ppl related to it)...we weren't supposed to know about it just yet..but I'm soo glad we did

I think the monstercon was in North Carolina. Hey Sis U figured it out yeah may be thats why Will's been calling him 'Killer" Oh by the way Nikki lives in Michigan right! Wow I wonder how would she react when she hears about this.

...and Nikki (sweetie) to think that Brian was in your State...how can you contain yourself (smile)!!! Just think....at that point, you became closer to Brian than any of us.....I'm jealous girl (smile). But I would absolutely, positively, just die (but I'd be pissed) if I found out that Brian was up here in Alaska and I didn't know about it. Just goes to show that you never know what may happen.

The official site of 'Cyrus' is up & running. The site is very cool, besides having basic sub-sections like cast, crew, news & trailer...it also has a download section & a forum ...yes a forum, I just signed up there & it'd be really cool if U guys joined too...we can discuss all about 'Cyrus' there, I think it'd be a really great way not just to show our support to the movie as #1 BK fans but also to promote it to other fans. And who knows may be Brian could join us there & even if he doesn't he'll probably be checking the site out every once in a while...& at least there will be a slight chance of him knowing how much we love him & how we've been looking forward to watching his films...especially this one

So what say girls, U wanna join or what?


I just watched the trailer...its totally awesome & Brian...what can I say, he never ceases to amaze me...U'll know what I mean when U watch the trailer
