The Binds That Tie Us(2010)

After working in almost every genres possible from Fantasy-Sci-Fi-Drama-Comedy, Brian Krause has now added Musical to his diverse list of genres with his upcoming new flick "The Binds That Tie Us",
a film about a washed-up cabaret singer in 1979 whose choices affect lives not even conceived yet.
It is a deconstructionist musical--Across the Universe meets The Hours--in which a series of scenes and characters, out of place and time, will all make sense in the end. Brian portrays the character of Marion, a husband who has been broken by life's tragedies & his own poor choices. The movie began filming on the 2nd week of September & quickly wrapped up production by Sept 21st, 2009 & is currently in post-production. The intriguing motion as to whether Brian will be singing in the film or not is yet to be revealed. We'll be sure to keep you posted as soon as any new info turns up.

Plot Outline
Liza is a woman who desperately yearns for more. Nothing is ever enough. A two bit singer with an alcohol and pill habit, she relies on Marion(Brian Krause), her club-owning husband, to provide the stage and the money. He loves her but she only uses him. They have a son Benny who is Liza's world. However Liza's choices, cheating on her husband and substance abuse, wreak havoc on her life. One night she is caught with a random man behind Marion's club. Marion goes crazy and beats her up--it is not the first time for either one of them. Liza escapes to a place called Rosie's Place which a friend told her about--a safe haven. There she meets three women who will change her life. After intense support and therapy she leaves to start over. But her past will come back to haunt her again when Marion mistakenly thinks she is having sex with someone else again, he shoots and Benny pays the ultimate price.

Liza stays in that tragic moment. She neither goes forward or backward--she cannot let go. In the end we will realize as Liza does, that every choice you make, every 'hello,' every person you encounter, creates a ripple effect that once set in motion is exponential.

First of all...this is totally nice for BK.....but..okay....am I missing something here? How come his name is not listed up underneath the picture with the others? Looks like the main character in the plot is "Liza"...but really....after all, Brian plays her husband!!!!

...and after all, our guy won an award for "Gods of Circumstance".....was awesome in "Beyond Loch Ness" & "warbirds" & "CYRUS"...and on and on and on.....

Bottom Line = (HHHEEEYYY Charles River Films)))....I want my guy's name on the bill

Actually the thing is initially when the casting was underway they were still looking for an an actor to cast for the leading role...but at the same time they needed a poster for their official site & also to promote the film on Twitter & Facebook so they just listed the actors they had already casted. Brian came into the picture a bit later & obviously got the lead part of Marion ...& now he is listed way at the beginning before the rest of the cast on the official site. So I'm sure they'll modify the poster with his name real soon
