| Brian Krause---Series Magazine Interview[English translation] All of Brian Krause's fans wondered if Leo, destroyed by Chris, the new Whitelighter, at the end of the 5th season, would be present in the new season of Charmed. As Brian confides to us in this interview, he didn't know himself! However, we noticed that the productors didn't dare do without him. In spite of Leo's so-called death at the end of the 5th season, did you always know that you would come back in the series?"No. In fact, I didn't know anything more than any television viewer The producers have, for a long time, hesitated on Leo's case and they didn't know if I should come back or not. By the time they settled on a decision, I had spent a few weeks in a state of uncertainty, and I must say it was a very harrowing situation. I even thought I would have a nervous breakdown! [Laughter] I called Brad Kern, the executive productor of the series nearly everyday to ask him if I would come back or not. And, every time, he replied that he didn't know. It took a long time for me to get the answer..." Had you become used to the idea that you wouldn't come back in the series?"Yes. After a while, I told myself that I'd have to accept it and to stop hoping that I would come back. Thankfully, I recieved a phone call from the production announcing the news that I didn't dare hope. I let out a sigh of relief. On this day, I celebrated the event by drinking a bottle of Champagne!" [Laughs] "Years ago, I dated a girl who pretended to be a witch." "Drew Fuller was sure that he'd be the only male hero on the show after Leo's disappearance. He never admitted it, but I think that he was a tad disappointed to see me." nAtaShA | |
